What Is Ketamine?

Ketamine is a medicine that was originally used as an adjuvant to anesthetics in the 1960s. It was used in the Vietnam war to reduce physical pain due to injuries. At higher dosages, it is used in the operating and emergency rooms for surgeries as a large part of an anesthetic regimen.

Different Forms of Ketamine Treatment

There are 4 methods to deliver Ketamine treatments.

Maintenance Programs

We recommend 6 infusions over three to four weeks. Our protocol is based on large studies and over 13 years of personal experience in ketamine infusion.

Our dosing ranges from 0.5mg/kg to 0.7mg/kg and ocasionally 1mg/kg and the infusion occurs over 40 to 60 minutes with continuous monitoring.

The effect is often felt immediately, and most patients do feel better after the initial treatment. After 6 treatments, we work with each patient to identify a maintenance program with less frequency custom tailored to their specific needs.
